Along the main Jomsom Muktinath route, several small villages have basic tea houses or lodges where trekkers can stay overnight. These teahouses typically have shared dormitory-style rooms with thin foam mattresses and blankets and may have shared toilet and shower facilities. Some teahouses may also offer private rooms for an additional fee.

The advantage of group treks is that they are often more affordable and can be a good way to meet other travelers and make new friends.

Private treks are organized for a single individual or a small group of travelers and can be customized to your specific interests and preferences. You will have your own guide and porter(s) and can choose your itinerary and pace. The advantage of private treks is that you have more control and flexibility, but they tend to be more expensive than group treks.
