Chisapani Nagarkot Trek is one of the popular trekking sport of Nepal. It provides beautiful mountain views early in the morning. The people around there grow different seasonal crops. The trek starts from Sundarijal. Nagarkot is one of the famous nearest tourist sport from Kathmandu.

Chisapani Nagarkot is a three-day trek. We will be able to interact with the local people there. It will add another dimension to your experience. The Chisapani Nagarkot trek starts from Kathmandu after an hour by bus or personal vehicle to Sundarijal. It offers the countryside people life, the natural beauty of that place, different Mountain View (Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang Himal, Gaurishankar Himal, and also Mount Everest). The earliest destination is Chisapani which is started after an hour driving by bus from Kathmandu to Sundarijal.

It takes a hike to reach at Chisapani four hours. As the name suggests the weather of Chisapani is so cool, where we can enjoy a lot. Walking through the jungle and listening to bird sound and green forest will add, more pleasure in our journey. The clean and cold weather will add more energy for hiking. There is the place Mulakharka, we can take a break here for lunch, after that we can continue our hiking towards Chisapani.

Nagarkot is a beautiful village. It is full of standard hotels, lodge, and resorts. The most attracting part of Nagarkot is early sunset and view of reflecting rays of the sun to the white mountain which is awesome. It is at the height of the 1920m from sea level. The view of Kathmandu valley is another attracting part of Nagarkot. Arrival day in Kathmandu. Upon on your arrival to the Kathmandu International Airport, one of our staff who is the airport representative will warm welcome you with beautiful garland then transfer to the hotel. Our manager will meet you at your hotel, then talk about the trip and take you to the very nice restaurant for welcome dinner then drop you to the hotel.

Today, our manager will come to meet you at the hotel at 10.00 AM.  He will brief about the trip in detail, introduce with the guide and provide you all the documents. You will be free in the afternoon and manage your time for trek preparation. Our guide will meet you at your hotel at six O’ clock in the evening then take you for well come dinner. After having dinner, drop you to the hotel and stay over night.

Today is your first day trek to Chisapani. Our trekking guide will come to meet you at your hotel, then drop you to the Sundarijal by car. It takes about an hour. You should start your walk on foot from Sundarijal to Chisapani. It takes about four to five hour walk. You should enter in the Shivapuri Wild Life Protected Area. The trail mostly tough climb about three to four hours, then drop down an hour to reach to Chisapani. You can see the sun set view in the evening and enjoy the beautiful mountain view as well then stay overnight at hotel.

Today is your second day trek to Nagarkot. Chisapani is one of the most beautiful place to enjoy the mountain views. You can observe the most mountains, like as Annapurna, Ganesh Himal, Langtang Lirung, Dorjelakpa, Gauri Shankar and many more. Today you can enjoy beautiful scenery, walk through the jungle and passes several countryside villages. Today your walk about six to seven hours. You can enjoy the sunset view from Nagarkot and stay overnight there.

Nagarkot is one of the best viewpoints. Thousands of tourists visit this place for great mountain views. You should wake up early in the morning to see the sunrise and the mountain views. After breakfast, you should drop down to the Charge Narayan Temple. You can enjoy the beautiful countryside, walk sometimes through the pine forest the arrive at Changu Narayan Temple. You can visit the oldest Bishnu Temple. Changu Narayan temple is one of the world heritage sites. After visiting this place, our driver will pick up you from there and drop you to the hotel. Our manager will come to meet you at your hotel then will take you for the farewell dinner. After having dinner, will drop you to the hotel, then stay overnight at the hotel.

Flyback home. Our driver will come to your hotel, then drop to the Airport for the final departure.

Chisapani Nagarkot trek best time

In general, the trekking season in Nepal runs from September to November and from March to May. These months offer the best combination of good weather, clear views, and moderate crowds. During these months, the weather is generally pleasant, with warm days and cool nights, and the skies are generally clear, providing great views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.

The Chisapani Nagarkot can be done in other months as well, but the weather and conditions may be less favorable. The winter months (December to February) can be very cold and snowy in the Langtang region, making the trek more challenging and potentially dangerous. 

The summer months (June to August) are the monsoon season in Nepal, which means that the trekking trails may be wet and muddy, and there may be more clouds and rain, which can limit visibility.
